The Heart-Centered Hexe

I  started the Autumn Witch, originally on another platform, as a means to share my experience as a solitary Pagan Witch so that others who may likewise be solitary could see and understand that they aren't alone in their trials and tribulations. I have since also added my perspective on certain topics as well as how I manage my spellwork and magick. However, after feeling the need to expand into the world of personal growth and development (something I feel is important for the witch as well), I realized that The Autumn Witch simply didn't resonate any longer. So, after much thought, I decided to rename my Blog and Site to the Heart-Centered Hexe.

That tells you about my blog but not who I am. My name is Britany (yes, it's spelled quite oddly) and am from a small country town in Virginia. I've known since I was a child that I was a witch--I just hadn't known there was a religion based around my beliefs so imagine my excitement when I found Paganism and Wicca in college! I am a paralegal student though teaching is one of my passions. I am bilingual (Spanish and English) with a deep love of languages, cultures, history, and religions. My life has changed drastically from where I had envisioned it when I graduated high school and it took me a very long time to accept that.

I read tarot which is another passion of mine. I genuinely care and want to help others. I have recently begun learning Astrology and about herbs. Though I consider myself eclectic in my practice, I do work with the Egyptian pantheon mostly and have started learning more about the Celtic Gods and Goddesses. Growing up, I always connected deeply with the Greek pantheon and knew without a shadow of a doubt, they were real. I have three cats (Binx, Majik, and Coco).  Baking, reading, and writing are some of my favorite pastimes and fingers crossed, I will have published a book in the near future.
