I asked "What energies should we focus on this week?" so these are the energies prominent during each particular week that we can work with. So, it's not going to be a list of what's going to happen but more of a guide to utilizing the energies of December more efficiently. I strictly did weeks and not holidays--just keep that in mind.

Week 1 (1st and 2nd)
--Agapanthus—
You are Divine in your own right and don’t need to prove yourself to anyone. Stand in your truth and own your power. 2018 has been a year of self-mastery so take time this month to implement the lessons you’ve learned. Specifically, for these two days —Wear your crown confidently, have courage and stand tall in who you are. Set boundaries. We’re being called to truly own our truth and be authentic. Don’t dim your light for the comfort of others. Likewise, don’t become arrogant or egotistical.

Week 2 (3rd-9th)
—Rose—
Focus on love. This time of year is HECTIC and we may find ourselves in situations that frustrate us (looking at holiday traffic and long store lines). Instead of focusing on what you despise, remember why you are there in the first place. If you’re annoyed by long store lines, focus your attention on the love you have for your family and friends whose gifts you may be buying. Focus on the love of the season. Whatever it may be, focus on love. Surround yourself in love.
Week 3 (10th-16th)

—Honeysuckle—
Challenges may arise this week but know it’s old energy that is being released. Continue confidently forward with the understanding that those old patterns no longer serve you and are being released. Don’t get swept up in the chaos and dwell there. Recognize the past for what it is, release it with gratitude, and move forward. It’s time to let that all die away.

Week 4 (7th—23rd)
—Magnolia—
What a perfect card for the week of the Full Moon! Take inspired and empowered action. Get clear on what it is you want and know that you have the power to make it happen. This is about really standing proud in your being, standing firm in your magick, and connecting with the Goddess within. If you were hoping for a sign to go for something, this is it!

Week 5 (24th—30th)
—Tulip—
Find the beauty of the moment. We’re wrapping up the year—one that has been tough for many. As you reflect on it, be grateful for all that has transpired as it was to help you grow and learn. Find the beauty not only in the hardships but in the miracles as well. You may even find yourself just wanting to surround yourself with beautiful things.

Week 6 (31st)
—Hyacinth—
You’ve set your intentions, now let that energy work. There’s a sense of mindfulness and being patient instead of rushing to cause change to happen. This is incredibly important considering it’s New Year’s Eve and everyone is hurriedly creating a list of resolutions that usually won’t last past January. This isn’t to say that you shouldn’t be doing anything to create the change you want but there’s a sense of a more steady and slower sort of action. Maybe it’s more about the small steps and minor details than the big bold I’m going to energy of resolutions?
I have always found December to be full of magic as it seems to be the one time of year that people can come together and be nice towards one another. A sense of goodwill and cheer do swirl about in the air. We seem so keen to focus on our differences that we fail to celebrate the similarities that we share. That may be easier this month.
The underlying theme seems to be owning your power, standing firm in your truth, and focusing on love. I find love and gratitude to be very much interconnected so allow yourself to feel gratitude for all that has transgressed this past year--the good and the bad. 2018 was a year of self-mastery and that isn't easy. Many of us don't want to give up old friendships, relationships, patterns, and beliefs because they are comfortable. They are what we know. Familiar leads to comfort. So, for many of us, we had to have our lives shaken up so we could release what no longer serves us. Many of us will find we are completely different people than we were at the beginning and as we prepare to begin a new year, let's not forget what all we learned. Let us honor the journey we've been on and begin implementing the necessary changes.
This is clearly not the month for shrinking ourselves. We're being called to be the radiant spirits that we are. Let your light shine brightly and know that all because yours does, doesn't mean someone else's can't. During this season of light, let us each celebrate and honor the light within our own selves. May we be beacons of hope, peace, joy, and love unto the world as the December holidays are for us.
Brightest of Blessings!
