Crystals have become some of my favorite tools and allies for spellwork and ritual which is why I always include them on my altars, especially my sabbat altars since I'm working to tune in with a specific energy. As I began preparing for Litha, ensuring I had all the materials for my upcoming ritual, I found myself grabbing the same crystals I have used for the past few Summer Solstice rituals so I figured I would share with y'all which ones I associate with this sabbat. If you're new to this path, or simply want a refresher, I wrote a blog post about Litha which can be found here.
Citrine
I have five favorite stones that I would recommend for beginners (that'll be it's own post) and Citrine is definitely one of them! It was one of the first crystals I ever purchased and holds a very dear part in my heart.
Citrine is a variety of Quartz with a Moh hardness of 7. While this crystal does occur naturally, you have to be careful because a lot of it is also heat treated amethyst! However, that doesn't really make it any less effective as I have a couple of heat treated pieces and the energy is just as amazing!
This crystal works well with the solar plexus as it helps us tap into feelings of self-confidence, positivity, success, enthusiasm, and motivation. Additionally, this stone can be used for prosperity which is why it's also called The Merchant's Stone. Other correspondences for this stone include: Abundance, Achieving Goals, Clarity of Thought, Creativity, Joy, and Wealth.
Citrine helps us in clearing away negative energy and is said to be a stone that never needs cleansing itself, like Kyanite. I'm going to say to go with your intuition on that matter as personally I do cleanse mine.
This stone can help lend physical energy and can be used to help cleanse our chakras as well as our aura. For crystal healing*, Citrine is good for: aiding digestion, helping with issues concerning our pancreas, stomach, spleen, and intestines; help with bladder and kidney infections; improve blood circulation, help with chronic fatigue; overcome depression, fears and negative thought patterns; and with our nervous systems.
This crystal has such a beautiful and sparkly sort of joyous energy that lifts our vibrations and allows us to feel genuinely positive and happy. At least...that's been my experience.

Honey Calcite
This isn't a stone I see mentioned too often but I absolutely love it because it literally is like a slice of golden sunshine and, well, honey. It's a positive, radiant, and absolutely gorgeous crystal! I find the vibrations of this stone are more subdued than Citrine--just in case you aren't fond of Citrine.
Honey Calcite is a calcium carbonate crystal with a Moh hardness of only 3 and is great to work with the Sacral Chakra though personally I would also associate it with the Solar Plexus as this crystal helps us reclaim our personal power, standing firm and confident in our authenticity, as well as courage. It gives me this almost sense of rootedness in who I am and almost has this like regal air to it. (Just my impression!)
This crystal is also good for taking responsibility within relationships as well as helping one recover from any past abusive ones*. If you need help in overcoming any obstacles, Honey Calcite can be a great tool to help combat laziness, allow us to feel full of vitality, overcome procrastination, be instilled with determination and perseverance.
Likewise, Honey Calcite can be utilized to learn new things, find mental clarity, stimulate intellect, and be mentally alert. When it comes to crystal healing*, Honey Calcite is good for: issues pertaining to the bladder, kidneys, and female reproductive organs; bones, and maintaining a healthy immune system.

Green Moss Agate
I know I say this with practically everything but there is something so wild, grounded, and strong about this stone that it's my GO-TO for earth energy so when the bitterness of midwinter is chilling the land, making it impossible to venture long outside, this stone can act as a great way to connect with Gaea and nature!
Green Moss Agate is a form of Chalcedony and has a Moh's hardness of either 6.5 or 7. This is known as the Gardner's Stone as it helps aid in plant growth as well as connects us with earth spirits. It's also called the Midwife's Stone because it is said to help ease labor pains* and ensure a good, safe delivery*. As almost all green stones, this is a fantastic stone for the heart chakra as it increases compassion as well as our sense of generosity.
In addition to this, this crystal can also be used for: Abundance, Creativity, Fertility, Grounding, Growth, Inspiration, New Beginnings, Prosperity, Stability, and Strength.
This is a stone associated with Archangel Raphael so it comes as no surprise that it can be used in many different areas for crystal healing*. This includes: cleansing the circulatory and elimination systems, being an immune booster, alleviating depression, recovering from illness, treating infections, reducing fevers, as well as alleviating depression.

Carnelian
Another stone I would recommend for beginners, I have an entire blog post dedicated to this crystal which can be found here.
Like Green Moss Agate, Carnelian is a form of Chalcedony with a Moh's hardness of 7. This stone works great with the Sacral Chakra as it's associated with courage, creativity, vitality, and motivation. In fact, this is the ONLY stone I ever use for my Sacral Chakra. Keeping with this Chakra, Carnelian also helps increase sexual energy*.
This crystal is also used for: Energy, Navigating and Initiating Change, and Starting New Projects. These aren't it's only correspondences though and if you're interested, click the link highlighted above to read more about this amazing crystal!
When it comes to crystal healing*, Carnelian is good for: detoxing the body, improving blood flow, helping with the absorption of vitamins, as well as stimulate the metabolism.

Green Aventurine
I LOVE this stone! It has such a peaceful and beautiful soothing energy that just feels like a comforting balm to both the heart and emotions. This is my go-to stone for the Heart Chakra!
It's a form of Chalcedony with a Moh's hardness level of either 6.5 or 7. This stone is known as a "Stone of Opportunity" as it's said to bring good luck which is why it's great to carry with you to a job interview or anything promising. This is also a stone strongly connected with nature so if you're looking to deepen your connection, this is a great stone to utilize.
As I said before, it does correspond with the heart chakra and because of this, it is able to clear and activate our chakra. Likewise, it can act as a powerful protector against energy vampires. It can also help strengthen our sense of compassion and empathy, provide peace and calm, as well as provide us with a sense of optimism.
Other uses for Green Aventurine include: Abundance, Wealth, Prosperity, Resolves Negative Emotions, Neutralizes EMFs (Electromagnetic Fields), Promotes Leadership, Happiness, Calm Anxiety, Maintain our Energy, Calm Anger, Frustration, and Nervousness.
When it comes to crystal healing*, this stone can be used for: balancing blood pressure, helping with the Thymus gland and Nervous System, stimulate metabolism, lower cholesterol, ease nausea and headaches, help with allergies and skin eruptions.

Crystals are such great allies to use not just with our magickal workings but also in attuning to and aligning with the sabbats. These are by no means the only crystals that can be worked with for Litha as they are just the five I always think of. The ones I listed definitely have either solar or earthy associations but stones connected with water would likewise be appropriate for Litha since the sun is in the sign of cancer. Feel into the stones and see which ones call to you.
I hope y'all enjoyed this post and please comment below and let me know what crystals you associate with the Summer Solstice! I'd love to hear from y'all!
May your Litha be blessed with joy, light, and laughter!
